Have A Nice Life is a union made between Dan Barrett and Tim Macuga that was forged in the name of sonic exploration and emotional exorcism. Reflecting their joint concerns with depression and suicidal ideation, HANL’s third LP Sea Of Worry reflects the black cloud of dread that pervades the duo’s worldview — the dread of aging, children growing up, and an increasingly uncertain future. More concise and perhaps more straightforward than their past pursuits, Have A Nice Life has found new focus and discipline on Sea of Worry.
